I am a big fan of letters from great men. And even of women writing them back works of love, passion, even the misery that comes with longing for someone to be near. This page is a collection of some of my favorite quotes from letters written between two great loves. I only hope that my books reflect the kind of love and romance that these great words depict.

I don’t ask you to love me always like this, but I ask you to remember. Somewhere inside of me there will always be the person I am tonight.”
— F. Scott Fitzgerald
I couldn’t love you any more than in this moment...until tomorrow, when I do.
— IRL Romance Hero, Brian Meredith

Music to my ears

I love all kinds of music. Particularly jazz. But this quote featured in Sex & the City melted my heart and has inspired a great sense of love in my own life as well as in the characters in my books.

Who greater than Ludwig van Beethoven?

Ever thine, ever mine, ever ours.
— Ludwig van Beethoven

Great women in writing

At times, love seems impossible. Oceans and miles have kept true loves apart. But when you love someone enough, anything is possible.

Who so loves believes the impossible.
— Elizabeth Barrett Browning
